Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning (ATR/BPN) and the Indonesian National Police (INP) intensified their joint efforts to combat land mafia activities through a Cooperation Agreement (PKS) to enhance their approach to land disputes.
The initiative supports Regulation No. 15 of 2024 by the ATR/BPN Minister, aimed at preventing land issues.
Minister Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono highlighted on Monday (5/8/2024) that land mafia have caused significant problems, often leaving many cases unsolved for years due to their complexity.
INP Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo stressed that land disputes affect investment and hinder development. He emphasized the need for legal certainty in land ownership to protect the public from these criminal groups and facilitate investment.
The INP Chief raised his full support to ATR/BPN’s anti-land mafia efforts, stressing the importance of a comprehensive approach.
