Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Cybercrime Directorate of the Indonesian National Police (INP) has named one suspect, identified as LFK, for allegedly producing and uploading content that incited people to burn down the INP Headquarters during recent protests.
“LFK created and uploaded a video through her Instagram account that incited hatred and provoked the crowd,” said Brigadier General Himawan Bayu Aji, the Director of the Cybercrime Directorate, during a press conference on Wednesday (3/9/2025), as reported by antaranews.com.
LFK, a contract employee at an international organization near the INP headquarters, allegedly posted a video pointing at the INP headquarters while urging protesters to set it on fire. Authorities said her 4,000 Instagram followers amplified the potential for unrest.
Investigators also accused her of unlawfully transmitting electronic documents belonging to others. LFK has been detained at Bareskrim since 2 September 2025.
She faces multiple charges under the Information and Electronic Transactions (ITE) Law and the Criminal Code.
