Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Criminal Investigation Agency of the Indonesian National Police (INP) is assisting in the investigation of a serial sex predator case in Jepara, Central Java, handled by the Central Java Regional Police.
"The Directorate of Women's and Children's Protection and Human Trafficking is providing technical support, including forensic analysis, victim identification, and medical examinations," said the Director of the Women’s and Children’s Protection and Human trafficking Directorate, Brigadier General Nurul Azizah, in a video statement on Thursday (1/5/2025).
The INP is working with the Indonesian Child Protection Commission (KPAI), local women’s protection agencies, hospitals, and social services to ensure victims receive psychological, medical, and legal support.
Central Java Police are investigating suspect S, accused of abusing 31 victims, mostly aged 12–17. The latest victim is an 11th-grade high school student.
