Inp.polri.go.id - Purwakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP) Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo laid the foundation stone for the Training Center (Pusdiklat) of the Confederation of All Indonesian Workers' Unions (KSPSI ATUC) in Jatiluhur, Purwakarta, on Wednesday (7/8/2024).
The event, overseen by KSPSI President Andi Gani Nena Wea, marked the start of construction for the largest workers' training center in Southeast Asia. The facility will include training classrooms, a digital library, sports areas, and a mosque.
In his speech, Chief Sigit pledged police support to ensure timely completion of the project. He emphasized that the training center will enhance labor rights advocacy, increase job opportunities, and foster ideas for worker welfare.
The five-story building, funded by KSPSI members, is expected to be completed in 14 months, with an auditorium named after Chief Sigit. The inauguration is planned for December 2025.
