Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Indonesian National Police (INP) Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo officially closed the 2026 INP Chief (Kapolr)i Cup Badminton Tournament at the Jakarta State University (UNJ) Sports Hall on Saturday (1/8/2026). 

The championship, held from July 27 to August 1 as part of the 80th Bhayangkara Day celebrations, brought together 1,219 participants across three venues in Jakarta. Organized in collaboration with the Indonesian Badminton Association (PBSI) and NPCI, the tournament served as an official national ranking event for general athletes, police personnel, and para-badminton players.

"Thank you to PBSI, because the Kapolri Cup has become a recognized national event that adds points for athletes advancing to higher, international levels," Chief Sigit said.

The Indonesian National Police reaffirmed their commitment to supporting national sports development, creating competitive opportunities for young and disabled athletes, and strengthening community ties through athletic achievements.
