Indonesian National Police (INP) inspects the alleged extortion case by the Head of Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Firli Bahuri to the corruption suspect, Syahrul Yasin Limpo (SYL). The case currently is being handled by the Special Criminal Directorate of Metro Jaya. “Currently, the case is now being monitored by INP Criminal Investigation Unit of Corruption Directorate,” says the INP Public Relations Chief, Inspector General Shandi Nugroho on Friday (10/13/2023). According to him, the monitoring has begun since the case first investigated. “We actively monitor the investigation since it was started and continuously communicated with INP Criminal Investigation Unit attention team,” says Shandi. He explains that the monitoring was carried out to ensure the law process is going accordingly. Then, everything that has been conveyed to the public is also according to facts of law. (ad/ay/pr/nm)
