Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Deputy Chief of the Indonesian National Police (INP) Commissioner General Dedi Prasetyo officially launched the third intake of the New Student Admission System (SPMB) for SMA Kemala Taruna Bhayangkara high school for the 2027/2028 Academic Year at the INP Headquarters on Monday (28/9/2026).

Registration runs from 28  September 2026 to 28 October 2026, offering 180 full three-year scholarships that cover tuition, board, meals, and uniforms.

Chief Dedi said that selection is conducted through an open, equal blind-admission process across regular and invitation tracks, including sports talent streams

"Financial constraints must never prevent top-performing Indonesian students from applying," he said during the launch event in Jakarta.

Applicant volume grew by 52 percent between the first intake (11,765 applicants; 120 accepted) and the second intake (17,291 applicants; 180 accepted).

SMA Kemala Taruna Bhayangkara operates as an authorized IB World School, integrating the National Curriculum with the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme alongside 12 core Kebhayangkaraan character values. 

Executive Secretary of SMA Kemala Bhayangkara Educational Institution Dirgayuza Setiawan confirmed that outreach has reached over 3,000 junior high schools nationwide through regional police units, targeting over 17,000 applicants for the current cycle.
