Inp.polri.go.id - Semarang. Indonesian National Police (INP) Deputy Chief Commissioner General Dedi Prasetyo directly supervised the advanced medical screening for 409 Police Academy (Akpol) cadet candidates in Semarang, Central Java, on Tuesday (7/7/2026). 

The inspection aimed to guarantee strict objectivity, transparency, and scientific accuracy by integrating state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment into the institutional selection process.

Accompanied by senior police officials, the deputy chief reviewed the implementation of digital technology, including Heart Rate Variability (HRV) scanners for dynamic cardiac load testing and Bone Mineral Density (BMD) tools to intercept musculoskeletal injury risks.

"The medical examination no longer relies solely on conventional clinical checks," Medical Services Bureau Chief Brigadier General Dr. I Gusti Gede Maha Andikajaya said. "Through HRV, BMD, and VO₂ Max metrics, the medical team can generate a comprehensive assessment based on scientific evidence."
