Inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. Police determine one of the seven Overseas Election Committee (PPLN) who ran away. Police officials reveal the initial of the fugitive is MKM. “Yes. We are in pursuit of the fugitive,” said the Director of General Criminal Investigation of Indonesian National Police (INP), Brigadier General Djuhandani Raharjo Puro when confirmed on Friday (3/8/2024). According to the director, his party has coordinated with immigration parties and found the fugitive had entered Indonesia. Although the suspect is absent from trial, police assures legal process will continue. “It is not a problem at all because we will still continue the trial even with him in absence,” said Djuhandani. On other note, police have identified seven suspects of overseas election violators with six of them have been secured. Six of them are UF, PS, APR, AKH TOCR and DS. Suspects and the evidence are going to be moved to the prosecutors. (ad/ay/pr/nm)
