Inp.polri.go.id - Denpasar. Chief of the Indonesian National Police (INP)'s Security Maintenance Agency Commissioner General Dr. Mohammad Fadil Imran, and the Commander of the Indonesian Military's Joint Defense Regional Command II), Air Marshal TNI Andyawan Martono Putra led a troop deployment assembly to secure the Archipelagic and Island States (AIS) Forum 2023 in Bali. "We expect a safe and smooth operation, ensuring the synergy between the INP and  theIndonesian Military remains intact. This is not the first time we have undertaken such an operation. We hope the situation will be better than before with improved security coordination between the INP and the Indonesian Military for the 2023 AIS Forum," said General Fadil on Saturday (7/10/23). He explained that the INP has set up a special security operation to ensure the security of the 2023 AIS Forum in Bali. The Tribrata Agung operation involves thousands of INP personnel. A total of 4,038 INP personnel from the INP headquarters and the Bali Regional Police have been deployed for this operation. It will span six days, starting on Sunday, covering the entire jurisdiction of the Bali Regional Police, especially in the locations related to the 2023 AIS Forum activities. The operation will focus on preemptive and preventive measures, supported by law enforcement, cybersecurity, the Interpol, and public relations units to ensure event security. The INP will be responsible for securing the event venues and accommodations for participating heads of state, as well as the ministers of attending countries and their delegations. (mg/bg/pr/nm)
