The Indonesian National Police (INP) has officially launched the INP Cchief (Kapolri) Cup 2026 E-Sport as part of the IESPA National Congress “Symphony of Victory” at Balai Kartini, Jakarta, on Thursday, highlighting the INP’s commitment to supporting the growth of Indonesia’s e-sport ecosystem while strengthening ties with the younger generation in the digital era.
The launch was led by INP Head of Public Relations Inspector General Jhonny Eddizon Isir and the INP Criminal Investigation Agency Director of Cyber Crimes Brigadier General Adex Yudiswan, and attended by national e-sport stakeholders, digital communities, and gaming industry players.
Chief Adex explained that the tournament is designed as a platform for youth development through healthy, competitive, and positive gaming.
“Kapolri Cup is not just a competition, but a way to channel talent productively and build discipline, sportsmanship, and creativity,” he said on Sunday (7/6/2026).
The tournament will be held in stages, culminating at the INP Headquarters in July 2026. Competitions include Mobile Legends, cosplay and defile contests, as well as influencer and Key Opinion Leader (KOL) competitions.
The Kapolri Cup is expected to discover talented e-sport athletes capable of excelling nationally and internationally, while promoting a healthier and more productive digital environment.
