Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP)  expressed appreciation to the public for conducting peaceful, orderly, and responsible demonstrations across Jakarta on Thursday (24/9/2026).

INP Head of Public Relations Division Inspector General Johnny Eddizon Isir affirmed that law enforcement successfully protected democratic rights while maintaining citywide mobility and commercial activities.

"The INP expresses its gratitude to all citizens who voiced their aspirations peacefully, orderly, and responsibly," he said. "Our presence is to serve and escort the public so democratic spaces are used effectively while safeguarding the rights of others to go about their daily lives safely."

During the single-day operation, the Jakarta Metro Jaya Regional Police monitored 99 scheduled events, comprising 73 public assemblies and 26 community gatherings. A total of 26,386 joint security officers deployed across the capital. 

Following the peaceful rallies, police initiated phased traffic normalization to restore regular transportation flow.
