The Indonesian National Police (INP) Research and Development Center (Puslitbang) held a research focus group discussion (FGD) entitled "Saving the Golden Generation: The Role of INP in Combating Drugs" at the Yogyakarta Regional Police Promoter Hall on Monday, August 11, 2025.
This activity, led by Senior Superintendent Rido Rully Manuri Parsorang Purba, aimed to examine the professionalism of INP officers in combating drug crime within the Yogyakarta Regional Police jurisdiction.
Data collection methods included interviews and questionnaires focused on handling drug abuse crimes within the jurisdiction of the Yogyakarta Regional Police. This research will continue over the next few days.
The research results are expected to provide evaluation material and recommendations to improve the professionalism of the police force in combating drug crimes.
"With this research, INP is expected to continue to improve, maintain integrity, and improve the quality of service to the public," said Rido Rully.
The Yogyakarta Regional Police welcomes the implementation of this research as a strategic step to strengthen the role of police in protecting, serving, and serving the public, particularly in efforts to break the chain of drug trafficking.
