Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP) placed officers and Search and Rescue (SAR) equipment on high alert to handle potential emergency impacts as Mount Anak Krakatau remains at Alert Level III (Siaga).
The Security Maintenance Agency Sabhara Corps prepared 299 officers, 10 K9 units, rescue vehicles, field kitchens, and specialized disaster gear following a readiness roll call led by Baharkam Sabhara Corps Head Inspector General Nazli on Sunday.
Regional commands under the Banten, Lampung, and Metro Jaya regional police forces have also aligned operational readiness to support evacuations, maintain open access routes, and respond to emergency calls via the 110 Police Hotline.
"Our preparation ensures rapid operational response when citizens require help," INP Public Relations Division Head of Public Information Bureau Brigadier General Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko stated on Monday (7/9/2026).
He urged the public to remain calm, rely on official disaster communications, and adhere to designated danger radius zones.
