inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP) Traffic Corps Chief, Inspector General Agus Suryo Nugroho conveys the  timeline of the 2025 homecoming season. 

Agus and his unit predict that the homecoming traffic movement will begin in the next week considering the implementation of Work From Anywhere (WFA).

“Due to the government policy that implements the policy of WFA in the timeline, we predict that the traffic flow will begin to surge much earlier. In response to this, the Ketupat Operation will be moved up to operate on March 23 to April 8 only for Java, Lampung, and Bali, while operation in other areas will still start on March 26th,” explains Agus on Friday (3/14/2025).

For information, the WFA policy has been announced by the government to be implemented for ASN from March 24 to March 27. For that, Kakorlantas predicts that the homecoming will begin on March 19.

He could not yet confirm whether the usual peak homecoming flow traffic on D-3 Eid will still occur after the implementation of WFA policy or not, but he is sure that the policy will help suppress the traffic volume in this year’s Eid homecoming season.
