The Head of the Road Patrol and Escort Sub-Directorate of the Law Enforcement Directorate of the Indonesian National Police (INP) Traffic Corps, Senior Superintendent Ruben, led a work unit roll call to prepare for security ahead of the commemoration of International Workers' Day (May Day), which falls on Friday, May 1.

In his remarks, Ruben emphasized the importance of personnel preparation in anticipating mass movements expected in the Jakarta area.

Ruben emphasized that road security is the responsibility of INP Traffic Corps, particularly the Highway Patrol (PJR) unit.

"Road safety is our responsibility, specifically the Traffic Police (PJR) unit. And as has been instructed, I ask the head units to carefully anticipate the movements of people from outside Jakarta. Coordinate and communicate well with each other," added Ruben.

With the crowds arriving and coming from outside Jakarta, a plan to maintain the security in the city has been prepared and must be implemented optimally by all ranks.

Concluding his direction, Ruben expressed his hope that all personnel would carry out their duties well to ensure the smooth and safe running of May Day

"We have to be fully prepared for May Day on Friday. This is all I need to convey to all of you this morning, in the hope that we can carry out our duties well," concluded Ruben.
