inp.polri.go.id – Investigators from the Directorate of Special Economic Crimes (Dittipideksus) of the Criminal Investigation Agency (Bareskrim) of the Indonesian National Police (Polri) continue to investigate cases of alleged fraudulent trading robot investments of the DNA Pro application. However, investigators postponed the examination of singer Marcello Tahitoe or Ello regarding the alleged case of DNA Pro investment fraud. Information on the postponement of the examination was conveyed by Ello's lawyer, Charles Panjaitan, through a press statement to reporters at the Jakarta Police Headquarters, on Thursday (28/04/22). "While on the way to Bareskrim Polri, we received information from investigators that the agenda of the examination for our client was postponed," said Charles. Charles confirmed that his client was previously scheduled to be questioned as a witness related to the DNA Pro case on Thursday, at 13.00 WIB. Ello's management also stated that they were ready to answer to the investigator's summons. However, after receiving information that the examination was postponed, Ello canceled his visit to Bareskrim Polri. Charles added that his party did not yet know when investigators would reschedule Ello's examination. "It has been postponed until a time that will be informed later for one reason or another from the investigators," he added. Ello is among the long list of artists, celebrities, and influencers in this country who have stumbled upon fraudulent investment cases. Police continues to investigate the parties suspected of being involved.
