inp.polri.go.id – The Traffic Corps (Korlantas) of the National Police (Polri) appealed to travelers to be aware of extreme weather that could lead to traffic accidents.
The Head of Korlantas (Kakorlantas), Inspector General Firman Santyabudi explained that there are several factors that can cause traffic accidents during the homecoming trip.
First, accidents can be caused by the recent unpredictable weather in Indonesia and the human factor being less careful when driving.
"Weather can also affect traffic accidents and no less important is the human factor. So if you are on a trip and you are feeling tired, don't force it. Go get some rest," said Kakorlantas at Gelora Bung Karno, Wednesday (27/04/22).
Firman Santyabudi said that Korlantas Polri had also prepared thousands of personnel to guard and patrol several points that were considered prone to traffic accidents.
The Two-Star General also explained that his party had lists of several areas prone to traffic accidents along the homecoming route.
"We have placed personnel in several vulnerable points and have mapped several areas prone to accidents," said the Akabri graduate in 1988.
