inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Jakarta General Election Commission (KPU) has completed the voter list of Jakarta for the 2024 Gubernatorial Election. According to the list, there are 8,24,007 people eligible to vote in the upcoming election.

Chairperson of Jakarta KPU, Wahyu Dinata, reveals the data number when reading and determining the result of plenary meeting last Sunday.

Wahyu also revealed that the voting in Jakarta will be held in 44 districts with a total of 14,835 polling stations. Wahyu also detailed that there are 4,048,811 men eligible to vote and 4,165,196 women eligible to vote.

It was previously reported that Jakarta KPU has determined three Governor and Vice-governor candidates for the 2024 Jakarta Gubernatorial Election.

Head of the Division of Socialization, Voter Education, and Public Participation of the DKI Jakarta KPU, Astri Megatari, said that her party had welcomed the personnel from Metro Jaya Regional Police for the security of the gubernatorial and vice gubernatorial candidates.

"Later, a security unit from Metro Jaya Regional Police will be tasked with escorting each candidate pair starting today during the 2024 simultaneous regional elections," explained Astri Megatari.
