Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Jakarta administration closed six toll gates on Monday for a week of maintenance, a move officials said was necessary to ensure road safety and comfort. The closures will last until 4 October 2025.
“We understand this will affect traffic flow, but repairs are essential so the toll gates can resume safer and more reliable service. We ask for patience and cooperation from all road users,” said Jakarta Transportation Agency Head Syafrin Liputo on Monday (29/9/2025), as quoted by antaranews.com.
The affected gates are Semanggi 1 and 2, Slipi 1, Kuningan 1, Senayan, and Pejompongan. Alternative routes have been prepared, including Tanjung Duren and Tebet 1, depending on traffic direction. Authorities also provided a temporary lane diversion at Semanggi 1 to reduce congestion.
Motorists are advised to plan trips accordingly or consider public transport. Officials emphasized that shifting to mass transit would not only ease traffic but also contribute to safer and more environmentally friendly travel in the capital.
