inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Vice Minister of Transmigration (Wamentrans), Viva Yoga Mauladi, emphasized that the free health check (CKG) program demonstrates the government's commitment to guaranteeing the right to health for all Indonesians.
"Mr. President (Prabowo Subianto) wants all Indonesians to live healthy lives and lead healthy lifestyles. Through these health checks, the state can be present, and Indonesia can be healthy and strong," explained Viva on Wednesday (2/11/2026).
Viva stated that the CKG program has been running for one year since its launch in 2025. To date, 70 million people have participated in the free health checks. The government targets to increase the number of participants to 130 million by 2026.
He emphasized that free health checks are a preventative measure to enable people to identify their health conditions early.
Even if they are fit, Viva stated that people still need to undergo check-ups to detect the possibility of chronic diseases or other health problems that could potentially hinder their activities and productivity.
The CKG program is widely implemented in various regions across Indonesia. Services are not only available at community health centers (Puskesmas), but also reach schools, Islamic boarding schools, shopping centers, and workplaces.
"We visit workplaces to monitor the health of workers and encourage their participation in the free health checkup program. As workers, they are engaged in daily activities and are expected to maintain good health to boost their productivity," he explained.
He emphasized that providing health services is the responsibility of the state and the commitment of the Indonesian government to reach all levels of society, from infants to the elderly, and across various professions, such as farmers, fishermen, teachers, lecturers, and workers.
If the examination reveals any signs of illness, participants will be referred to the nearest hospital for further treatment and monitoring of their progress.
The government hopes that this program will not only increase national productivity but also build a culture and ecosystem of healthy living as a habit for Indonesians.
