Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Jakarta Metro Jaya Regional Police will implement traffic diversions around the National Monument (Monas) on Tuesday, in celebration of the 79th Bhayangkara Day.
“We urge the public to avoid roads leading to Monas from morning to evening due to anticipated congestion,” said Jakarta Traffic Police Director Senior Superintendent Komarudin on Monday (30/6/2025).
Key affected routes include Sudirman-Thamrin, Tomang-Harmoni, Juanda-Veteran, Lapangan Banteng, Tugu Tani, Gunung Sahari, Benyamin Sueb, and Medan Merdeka. Traffic adjustments will be situational, with potential road closures starting midnight to accommodate attendees from various provinces.
“Work From Home advisories have been issued to reduce commuter volume,” Chie Komarudin added, as reported by antaranews.com
More than 5,800 joint personnel will be deployed for security. A command post will coordinate on-site logistics, including traffic flow and guest parking zones.
