Inp.polri.go.id - Jember. Jember Sub-regional Police launched the initial shipment of corn harvested by police-assisted local farmer groups (Gapoktan) to the State Logistics Agency (Bulog) Jember Branch in Puger District on Wednesday (7/10/2026)).
"We want this program to go beyond planting and harvesting. The yield must be absorbed by the market so farmers secure price certainty," said Jember Police Chief Supeirntendent Alaiddin during the flag-off ceremony.
The strategic partnership between police, Bulog, and local agricultural authorities aims to support national food security by guaranteeing market access for local agricultural yields. Alongside the harvest shipment, the police chief distributed food assistance packages to 100 underprivileged residents in the surrounding area to reinforce social welfare efforts.
