Inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. President Joko Widodo appoints Marthinus Hukom as the new head of National Narcotics Agency (BNN), replacing Petrus R Golose who has recently retired on December 1st, 2023. The appointment of Marthinus and the retirement of Petrus Golose was included in Presidential Decree (Keppres) Number 182/TPA of 2023, which was confirmed by Presidential Special Staff Coordinator Ari Dwipayana. “On November 29th, 2023, Mr. President have signed Keppres for Petrus Golose retirement as BNN and appoints Marthinus Hukom as its new chief,” says Ari on Tuesday (12/5/2023). Marthinus previously led the Special Detachment 88 Counter-terrorism since 2020. The man who was born in 1969 is the graduate of National Police Education and Training Institute Police Academy Class of 1991. Prior to leading the Special Detachment 88, Marthinus was once the investigators in the unit and rose to ranks in 2015 and 2018 as the Vice Head of Special Detachment 88. (ad/ndt/pr/nm)
