Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Eight train services, including intercity and commuter lines, were canceled following the derailment of the Purwojaya Train (KA 58F) traveling from Gambir to Cilacap near Kedunggedeh Station, Bekasi, on Saturday (25/10/2025).
PT Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI) 1 Jakarta spokesperson Ixfan Hendriwintoko said in a statement that the cancellations affected departures on both Saturday and Sunday. The affected services included the Argo Merbabu, Purwojaya, Argo Muria, and Argo Sindoro intercity trains, as well as the Jatiluhur and Walahar Commuter Lines.
KAI offered affected passengers alternative routes or full refunds, according to antaranews.com.
“We apologize to all passengers whose journeys were disrupted,” Ixfan said, adding that a joint team is working to restore operations as quickly as possible.
Passengers are advised to check the latest travel status through the Access by KAI app, the official website kai.id, or Contact Center 121 for real-time updates.
