Toni Harmanto, M.H., gave an award to officers who excel in the ranks of the South Sumatra Police (Polda Sumsel), Tuesday (17/5/22). The awards was held at Sports Room of Polda Sumsel HQ. The awars was given to The Directorate of Water and Air Police (Ditpolairud) of Polda Sumsel who succeed in thwarting the smuggling of lobster seeds in the Sri Menanti waters, Tanjung Sareh, Banyuasin Regency, by securing several perpetrators.. The Head of Public Relations (Kabid Humas) of Polda Sumsel, Commissioner Drs. Supriadi M.M., explained that the award was given as a gratitude for the performance of the members who had done their best in carrying out their duties. "We hope that by giving this award, it can motivate them to continue to improve their performance so that South Sumatra is safe from criminal acts," explained Kabid Humas Polda Sumsel. "There are two kinds of awards given this time, namely gold pins and silver pins," he adds. Kabid Humas Polda Sumsel added that for the Gold Pin there were at least seven core personnel from the Ditpolairud including the Director of the Ditpolairud of Polda Sumsel. Meanwhile, silver pins were given to 18 personnel of Ditpolairud Polda Sumsel who participated in the arrest of nine suspects in the lobster seed smuggling case.
