Lampung Regional Police Held Sikat Krakatau Operation to Tackle C3 Crimes and Illegal Firearms

Inp.polri.go.id – Lampung. Lampung Regional Police and ranks deploys a total of 829 personnel for the Sikat Krakatau operation. The operation was held simultaneously in Lampung and will last for 14 days from May 6th.

The Head of Lampung Regional Police Public Relations Division, Senior Superintendent Umi Fadilah Astutik says that the operation will focus on the prevention of aggravated crimes, robbery, motor theft crimes (C3 Crimes), and misuse of firearms.

Umi adds that the main objective of the task is to target, suppress, and uncover criminal cases, while also preventing the C3 crimes and firearm misuse.

Personnel involved in the operation are instructed to prioritize the law enforcement while also carrying out preventive efforts to create a safe, secure, and conducive situation in the province.

“Our expectation is that we could uncover criminal cases either by securing the suspect, syndicate, or even evidence during the operation,” continued Umi.

The operation is also hoped could improve public awareness to actively participate in supporting the police.

“This effort is our joint effort to create a conducive situation in Lampung Regional Police,” concluded Umi.
