Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Jakarta LavAni Livin’ Transmedia defeated defending champion the Jakarta Bhayangkara Presisi 3–1 in the Proliga 2026 men’s volleyball match at the Indoor Sport Center, Deli Serdang, North Sumatra, on Sunday night (18/1/2026).
“We controlled the game well, but there are many aspects we need to evaluate,” LavAni assistant coach Erwin Rusni said after the match, as cited by antaranews.com.
LavAni dominated early through aggressive attacks by Hendra Kurniawan, Boy Arnes, and Malizi, taking the first two sets 25–16 and 25–19 with strong playmaking from Dio Zulfikri and foreign players Taylor Sander and Nato Dickinson.
Bhayangkara Presisi responded in the third set after tactical adjustments by coach Reidel Toiran, winning 25–22 behind improved blocking and offense led by Rendy Tamamilang. However, LavAni regained control in the fourth set, closing the match 25–18 to secure a convincing victory. Bhayangkara acknowledged the loss was largely due to unforced errors as the competition continued.
