The Indonesian National Police Institute for Strategic Studies (LEMKAPI) awarded the Banten Police Narcotics Director and Tangerang Police Chief for their achievements in disclosing 43 kg of methamphetamine in an international network syndicate by the Banten Police Narcotics Directorate and the Tangerang Police Narcotics Unit. The awards ceremony was held at the Parama Satwika Hall of the Tangerang Police HQ on Tuesday (19/07). The activity was attended by the Director of Drug Research at the Banten Police, Police Commissioner Suhermanto, Head of the Narcotics Investigation Unit at the Tangerang Police, Commissioner Gede Adi Sasmita, Executive Director of LEMKAPI, Edi Saputra Hasibuan, the Key Officials and the personnel of the Tangerang Police. In his remarks, the Director of Narcotics Investigation Unit of the Banten Police expressed his gratitude to LEMKAPI. "On behalf of the Head of the Banten Police, I would like to thank LEMKAPI for the award and the appreciation for the disclosure of the international narcotics syndicate case," said the Director of Narcotics Investigation Unit of the Banten Police. "By giving this award, we can improve our performance so that there is no more drug trafficking in Banten," said the Banten Police Narcotics Director. Edi Saputra Hasibuan as Executive Director of LEMKAPI, said that this award is part of appreciation on behalf of the community. "We gave our high appreciation and gratitude to the Banten Police and its ranks in protecting, nurturing, and serving the community against the dangers of drugs," said the Executive Director of LEMKAPI. The Executive Director of LEMKAPI also imagined what would happened if the 43 kg of methamphetamine really reaches the community, "If 43 kg of methamphetamine really reaches the community, there will be millions of people who will become victims of drugs, and we are proud of the performance of the Banten Police and the ranks, in particular for the Narcotics Directorate and the Tangerang Police Satnarkoba for making sure that worst scenario did not happen," said Eddie. LEMKAPI stated that they always monitors all forms of success and achievement by the ranks, and wil awards them.
