Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Indonesia officially hosts the M7 Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) World Championship, opening Friday (9/1/2026) at Batavia PIK with a ceremony themed “Rise as One,” spotlighting the country on the global esports stage.
“Through M7, the world not only watches top Mobile Legends competition but also witnesses Indonesia’s spirit, creativity, and energy,” said Deputy Minister of Creative Economy Irene Umar, as quoted by antaranews.com.
The seventh MLBB World Championship runs until January 25, featuring 16 teams from around the globe competing for the world title. Opening events blended traditional Indonesian culture with modern music, choreography, and futuristic visuals, highlighting the nation’s diversity.
Esports senior players Ihsan “Luminaire” Kusudana, Muhammad “Wannn” Ridwan, and three-time MLBB Women’s Invitational champion Vivi “Vivian” Indrawaty raised the championship trophy.
The tournament includes M7 Carnival from 23–25 January 2026 offering interactive zones, community activities, and live music, featuring Stephanie Poetri as the headline performer.
