Inp.polri.go.id - Majalengka. Majalengka Sub-regional Police deployed 26 water tanker trucks on Wednesday (7/10/2026) to assist residents experiencing clean water shortages across five districts in West Java.
"Today, we officially dispatched 26 clean water tanker trucks simultaneously to residential areas facing water shortages," said Majalengka Police Chief Superintendent M. Aldy Sulaiman during the send-off ceremony at Majalengka Police headquarters.
The initiative was carried out in collaboration with the Majalengka Regency administration and local water utility provider PDAM Tirta Bhakti Utama. Under the distribution plan, 13 tankers were sent to Sumberjaya District, seven to Jatiwangi, and two each to Majalengka, Sukahaji, and Cigasong districts.
Chief Aldy said that the police force aims to address basic community needs alongside maintaining law and order, expecting that the clean water aid will ease local hardship and strengthen police-community partnership.
