inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Ministry of Manpower is collaborating with Microsoft, Bina Nusantara University (Binus University), and GreatNusa to expand its artificial intelligence (AI)-based job fair to connect job seekers with the needs of the national industry.

"So this morning, we're having a collaborative event with Great Nusa and Microsoft regarding an online job fair. We're also boosting knowledge and skills related to AI (artificial intelligence)," said Minister of Manpower Yassierli in Jakarta on Tuesday (7/28/2026).

Yassierli explained that the collaboration took place at the Job Fair, titled AI Career Boost Day 2026, held at the Manpower Ministry Office in Jakarta, to strengthen the competencies of national job seekers.

According to him, the industry's need for workers proficient in artificial intelligence continues to increase, so Indonesia must move quickly to prepare competitive human resources (HR) to face global technological changes.

Yassierli explained that holding online job fairs is a government innovation that allows job seekers to access job openings without having to attend in-person recruitment events at specific locations.

According to him, this online job fair focuses on job opportunities and improving artificial intelligence skills, in response to the industry's increasing need for competent national digital talent.

"This job fair is also our initiative to be held online, so it doesn't have to be held in one location, inviting a large number of people, and so on. This is especially relevant to today's and tomorrow's specific needs, namely AI-related skills," he explained.

The Ministry of Manpower continues to develop the Siap Kerja platform by connecting it with more companies to expand job opportunities and effectively match job seekers with industry needs.
