inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto stated that the success rate of the Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) program has reached 99.99 percent, serving 3.4 million beneficiaries since it was launched in early January 2025.

In the Plenary Cabinet Session regarding the six-month evaluation of the government, Prabowo admitted that there were indeed a number of incidents of students being poisoned by MBG packages, reaching 200 children out of a total of more than 3 million beneficiaries.

On the other hand, the President admitted that he was not yet satisfied with the achievement of the implementation of the MBG. The President also emphasized that the target of zero errors in the implementation of the MBG by the end of the year by the National Nutrition Agency is expected to be realized.

Prabowo said that MBG was an extraordinary achievement because it was successfully realized despite being criticized by many parties.

He argued that MBG was real evidence that the government calculated and implemented the program with good intentions.

On that occasion, Prabowo said that by the end of May, the number of MBG beneficiaries was estimated to reach 4 million people. Furthermore, by the end of November, the President believed that the beneficiaries would increase to 82.9 million people.

"It is estimated that by the end of May it will reach 4 million and by the end of June it will reach 6 million. By the end of July it will reach 22 million, so that by the end of November 2025 it will reach 82.9 million beneficiaries," said the President.
