Inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. Metro Jaya Regional Police has arrested and determined AMW (34) as the murderer of JS (25) who was found dead with hands and legs taped in East Cikarang, Bekasi Regency. "Yes he has been apprehended in Tasik," says Head of Criminal Violence Sub-directorate of Metro Jaya Regional Police General Criminal Investigation Unit, Superintendent Samian on Saturday (12/9/2023). In handling the case, Metro Jaya Regional Police have investigated and examine the relationship between the perpetrator and the victim who lived together at a rented house in Citarik Village, East Cikarang. "Suspect and the victim is not a couple, we are still looking on it," says Samian. It was reported that there was a body wrapped in plastic in a house. The neighbor of the victim, Rika (38), states she initially smelled something foul from the rented house on Friday (12/8/2023) at 14:30 pm. "I thought that was the smell of rotten eggs, but when I was putting the trash away, I still smell it. I also found the place was swarmed by flies," says Rika before she report the case to the police. (ad/ri/pr/nm)
