inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Metro Jaya Regional Police is investigating the embezzlement of a Wedding Organizer in Depok, West Java. The investigation was launched following two reports received by the police on August 4th and 5th.

The Head of Metro Jaya Regional Police Public Relations, Senior Superintendent Ade Ary Syam explains that the two victims are the brides who hired the Wedding Organizer. However, they were tricked by the Wedding Organizer and the money was taken away.

“One victim suffered the loss of 100 million IDR, and other victim suffered a loss of 2 billion IDR,” he said in the HQ on Thursday (8/8/2024).

Police announced to the public to immediately report if they also fell victim to the scam.

“If there are any of you who suffered from a similar scam, please immediately report the case to the police,” says Ade.
