Inp.polri.go.id - Tangerang. Minister of Law and Human Rights Yasonna Laoly inaugurated 51 new "legal awareness" villages and confirmed 80 existing ones in Banten on Wednesday (7/8/2024).
The event was part of the 79th National Law Day celebrations and the Legal and Human Rights Festival held at the Tangerang Juvenile Correctional Institution, as reported by antaranews.com.
Minister Yasonna urged local communities to adhere to legal standards, suggesting that high legal awareness can attract investment and foster economic growth.
He also emphasized the importance of registering intellectual property and providing support services for small businesses. The initiative aims to protect innovations and stimulate economic development, he said.
Dodot Adikoeswanto, the Head of the Banten Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights, highlighted that this program is part of a broader effort to cultivate legal awareness and ensure compliance across Indonesian society.
