inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Police are investigating the use of Ministry of Defense official license plates on a Porsche Cayenne. The driver and car have been handed over to the East Jakarta Sub-regional Metro Police.

"Yes, the Porsche Cayenne and its driver have been handed over and are currently being questioned by the East Jakarta Sub-regional Metro Police Criminal Investigation Unit," explained the Head of Public Relations for the Jakarta Regional Metro Police, Senior Superintendent Budi Hermanto, Thursday (1/29/2026).

Budi explained that the case began when the sports car was discovered by officers on patrol in the Halim Perdanakusuma Airport parking area, East Jakarta.

"This incident began when patrol officers discovered the car using the Indonesian Ministry of Defense registration number in the Halim Perdanakusuma Airport parking lot, East Jakarta," he said.

According to him, patrol officers, along with the Indonesian Air Force (AU) Military Police, then inspected the car. They then discovered that the license plate did not match its intended use.
