Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesia’s National Police (INP) pledged world-class security for the MotoGP at Mandalika Circuit, Lombok, running from 3 to 5 October 2025.
Assistant to the INPe Chief for Operations, Commissioner General Fadil Imran, said on Friday (3/10/2025) that 2,580 personnel from the police and military have been deployed.
“The INP is ready to ensure MotoGP in Mandalika runs safely, orderly, and memorably. Let’s show the world that Indonesia can host a world-class event with the best security standards,” he said after inspecting security points in and around the circuit, as reported by antaranews.com.
Security measures are divided into three zones, west, central, and east, with seven task forces supported by anti-drone systems and helicopter surveillance. Chief Fadil admitted improvements were still needed, especially in traffic and parking management.
He stressed that the MotoGP is more than just a race, it is Indonesia’s global showcase.
“Tens of thousands of spectators, heavy traffic, crowd risks, and cyber threats mean Indonesia’s image depends on Mandalika’s security,” Chief Fadil added.
