Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Indonesia’s Ambassador to Sweden and Latvia, Kamapradipta Isnomo, confirmed on Wednesday (5/2/2025) that no Indonesian citizens were among the victims of the mass shooting at a school in Orebro, Sweden.
"The Indonesian Embassy has coordinated with Swedish authorities, who are identifying the victims. As of now, no Indonesians are reported to be affected," he said, as quoted by antaranews.com.
The embassy has been in touch with the Indonesian community in Orebro, urging them to remain vigilant in the aftermath of the tragedy.
Indonesians residing in Sweden are encouraged to stay alert and report any suspicious activity to local authorities or contact the embassy’s hotline at +46708251391.
Currently, there are around 1,500 Indonesians in Sweden, with 27 living in Orebro.
The shooting, which occurred on Tuesday at Risbergska Campus, left at least 10 dead, including the shooter. Swedish authorities have ruled out further attacks.
