Inp.polri.go.id – North Kalimantan. The North Kalimantan Regional Police Chief, Inspector General Daniel Adityajaya stressed that the Indonesian National Police (INP) must remain neutral in the Regional Head Election.

“During the Simultaneous Regional Head Election, I stressed that police must remain neutral and not involved in practical politics,” said Daniel on Monday (5/6/2024).

Daniel also instructed all personnel to prepare themselves for the election. Moreover, head of work unit and head of regional unit are ordered to improve their monitoring to prevent member violation.

Furthermore, Daniel also stressed the importance of improving the performance of members in pre-emptive, preventive, and repressive effort to maintain order and to protect, guide, and serve the public.

Additionally, Daniel also stressed that solid collaboration with the military is also key to assure the event goes successfully. The solid collaboration is also part of the ways to ensure a safe and secure situation in the province.

“I hope what we did could prove useful for the people of North Kalimantan and to ourselves,” said Daniel.
