Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian Women’s Road Cycling team achieved a historic milestone by finishing second overall in the team classification at the 2026 Biwase Tour of Vietnam.
After five grueling stages ending Sunday (8/3/2026), the squad trailed only Norway’s Hitec Products–Fluid Control, finishing with a collective gap of 15 minutes and 29 seconds. This performance was a significant breakthrough for Indonesian cycling on the international UCI 2.2 circuit, according to antaranews.com
“The General Classification results achieved by the Indonesian Women’s Cycling Team represent a historic record for Indonesia,” the Indonesian Cycling Federation (ICF) said in a written statement following the final podium ceremony.
Lead rider Ayustina Delia Priatna, who wore the yellow jersey for the first three stages, secured a strong fourth-place individual finish overall. The team’s momentum continued as they prepared for the upcoming Biwase Cup scheduled for March 10–14.
