Inp.polri.go.id – North Maluku. The North Maluku Regional Police Marine and Air unit intensified their water patrol around the province. The step plays an important role in maintaining security stability and preventing criminal actions in water areas. The Head of North Maluku Regional Police Public Relations Division, Superintendent Bambang Suharyono explains that the patrol aims to provide a sense of security for fishermen and implore them to participate in maintaining waters security. Suharyono reveals that not only conveying security messages, fishermen are also reminded to beware while sailing to the seas, particularly during the bad weather with high winds and tides. Furthermore, the step was taken to ensure the safety of fishermen. Bambang stressed that the water patrol would also hopefully boost public trust with the police force in maintaining the situation. “And with this step, hopefully we could also suppress criminal actions in the water area, and create a safe environment for all who are doing their activities here,” conclude Bambang on Tuesday (4/2/2024).
