INP Uncover Drug Factory in Semarang, Arrest 2

Inp.polri.go.id - Semarang. The Directorate of Narcotics Investigation of the Indonesian National Police (INP) Criminal Investigation Agency arrested two men after it uncovered a methamphetamine and happy water drug factory in the Semarang area, Central Java.

"We arrested two suspects, (acting) as chefs," said Brigadier General Mukti Juharsa, the Director of Narcotics Investigation on Wednesday (3/4/2024). He said that the two suspects were caught red handed while processing raw materials for drug production. They were wearing complete protective gear with hazmat masks. "These two individuals were processing raw materials for drug production. When arrested, they were still wearing protective clothing with hazmat masks," Chief Mukti said..

The raid took place at a residence in Srondol Kulon Village, Banyumanik District, Semarang City. It was a joint operation involving the INP, the Customs and Excise Department, and the Central Java Regional Police. (mg/mz/pr/nm)
