Order Violation to be the Most Reported Case Received in the Regional Head Election Desk

inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Vice Minister of Home Affairs, Bima Arya Sugiarto reveals the order violations are the most reported case in the Regional Head Election Desk.

“This is a technical matter, such as the improper installment of Election Props, campaigning in holy places, and others,” said Bima on Tuesday (11/19/2024).

According to the case report development logged in Regional Head Election Desk from November 1st - 18th, 2024, the order violation potential reached 42% from the total of 318 reports.

Furthermore, Vice Minister Arya explains that the reports regarding the Election Supervisory Body (Bawaslu) becomes the second highest report received by the desk, which is 66 reports. He explains that Bawaslu was reported due to the 2024 Regional Head Election violations follow up.

Furthermore, 17 percent or 54 complaints received by the Pilkada Desk were issues of violations of the neutrality of state civil apparatus (ASN).

“We will coordinate and follow up on each complaint with stakeholders in the regions, and also coordinate with the Regional Head Election Desk of the Coordinating Ministry for Political, Legal and Security Affairs, and the Regional Head Election Desk in the province," explained Vice Minister Arya.

Based on the same data, East Nusa Tenggara is the province with the most complaints received by the desk, namely 106 complaints, followed with Yogyakarta as the second most with 60 complaints.
