The Coordinating Minister of Human Development and Culture Field, Muhadjir Effendy reemphasized the appeal for people to not use the two-wheeled vehicle or motorbike for far travel. He instead implored the public to take advantage of various free homecoming program provided by the government. “Motorists are implored not to use their bike for far travel. Instead, it is better for you to participate in free homecoming program. We also already prepared to transport your motorcycle along with you,” said Muhadjir on Tuesday (3/19/2024). “In this opportunity, I would also like to implore private companies and local organizations to also provide public free homecoming program,” continued Muhadjir. In this year’s Eid Al-Fitr, government predicted the peak of homecoming exodus would be on April 5th to April 7th. While its return flow would be on 14-15 of April. (ad/ndt/pr/nm)
