inp.polri.go.id -  The 2022 G20 has made Bali eyed by the world as a great tourist destination. There are a lot of beautiful places to visit in Bali, and Bali itself was chosen to host the G20 summit which will be held on 15 and 16 November 2022. Bali was chosen to be the place for the G20 Summit after meeting the requirement of MICE (Meeting, Incentive, Convention, and Exhibition). They have also met the requirement for Event Service Standards from the G20 National Committee and all criteria and indicators for the purpose of organizing events and activities in accordance with Minister of Tourism Regulation Number 5 of 2017. During the G20 Summit, there will be 38 state leaders and 60 ministers from the G20 country members. The total participant of the event itself has reached around 6,500 people. Aside from adequate being the place for international event, Bali has a lot to offer as tourist destination, and we have some several lists of it for you to consider. 1. Museum Pasifika Bali, South Kuta This art museum is the largest art museum in Asia Pacific that showcased more than 600 works of art from 200 artists from 25 countries. In G20 itself, the Museum has been chosen as one of the venue for their side event. 2. Garuda Wisnu Kencana, South Kuta The third highest statue in the world that shows the God of Vishnu on top of Garuda is designed by I Nyoman Nuarta. The statue itself is considered to “welcome” the tourist as it is the first thing that tourist can see from the plane as it landed in Ngurah Rai Airport. In the Garuda Wisnu Kencana Cultural Park, there are also often holds cultural performances such as the Kecak dance and traditional Balinese dances at the GWK Amphi theater. There are also good photo spots such as Lotus Pond, Indraloka Garden and Tirtha Agung. 3. Pantai Pandawa, South Kuta This beautiful beach has a lot to offer for those who visit it such as surfing, paragliding at Timbis Flying Site, yoga, and green tourism at Gunung Cultural Park. 4. Carang Sari Tourism Village, Petang The Carang Sari Tourism Village is known for its acculturation of Balinese and Chinese culture. Here, you can try water rafting in the Ayung River valley and a trip to a chocolate plantation. In addition, if you are interested in learning about the history of this village, you can visit the I Gusti Ngurah Rai Monument. 5. Nusa Penida Island The island is known for its seaweed cultivation and the Bali Starling bird sanctuary. White sand stretches glamorously across this island. 6. Ungasan Beach If you ever want to feel more private in your journey to Bali, Ungasan Beach is indeed your perfect choice 7. Geger Beach Not so many people know about Geger Beach. It is said that you can swim safely and peacefully in this turquoise sea waters. And that is some of places that you can visit while you are in Bali.
