inp.polri.go.id – The South Sumatra Police (Polda Sumsel), along with the Departmental Police (Polres) continue to eradicate narcotics networks in the South Sumatra region.
Head of Public Relations (Kabid Humas) of Polda Sumsel, Commissioner Supriadi explained that in the third week of April 2022, the Directorate of Narcotics Investigation (Ditresnarkoba), along with the police had uncovered 35 cases by arresting 46 suspects.
"Of the 46 suspects who were arrested, two suspects are known to be narcotics producers, 43 are dealers, and one is a user," said Commissioner Supriadi, Monday (18/04/22).
The evidence seized was 177.78 grams of crystal methamphetamine and 24.5 pills of ecstasy.
"In the third week, from the records we received, there were three Polres who did not report any drug cases, they are the Pagaralam Police, Empat Lawang Police, and Muratara Police," said the Intermediate Officer of the South Sumatra Police.
Kabid Humas Polda Sumsel appealed to increase the disclosure of drug cases in their respective regions, both in terms of quality and quantity.
