D.I.Yogyakarta Today - Head of Public Relations Division of the National Police, Inspector General Raden Prabowo Argo Yuwono, Saturday (7/11) at the Duta Wacana Christian University campus in Yogyakarta, said that security in conflict-prone areas for the Regional Head Election (Pilkada) will simultaneously be increased by adding more troops. Although mass gathering during the campaign period was prohibited, the National Police stated that the security for the 2020 Pilkada in 270 regions was still being prepared. Particularly for conflict-prone areas, together with the TNI and Polri will add troops. "Of course we know Indonesia with its geographical conditions such as islands, seas, and several rivers, there are many areas that have a history of conflict or are currently in conflict," said Police Public Relations Division Head Inspector General of Police Raden Prabowo Argo Yuwono, Saturday (7/11) afternoon. Argo was present in Yogyakarta to fill the discussion on 'The Important Meaning of National Insights in Fostering National Resilience' which was held by Duta Wacana Christian University (UKDW). In conflict-prone areas such as Papua, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT), and North Kalimantan, the National Police will increase security by increasing troops and coordinating with the TNI. "That is why, because currently field campaigns are prohibited, let us make this a space to sit together by resolving possible problems properly," he explained. Argo hopes that, with the development of democracy, there will also be increased public awareness of differences in political choices so that problems will not arise due to the regional elections. "Let everyone feel gentle and become education for democracy regardless of who the winner is. It doesn't matter if the loser respects the winners and vice versa," he said. In the discussion, Argo stated that the National Police asked all parties, including students and university students, to cultivate national insight. According to him, cultivating an attitude of love for the nation is the main thing. This feeling is cultivated since in the family, increasing to RT, RW, to the environmental and community levels. "From there, a wider and wider network is built so that it can become a complete Indonesia," said the man who was born in Sleman Regency, Yogyakarta Special Region.
