Throughout the antic operation, the Director of Drugs Investigation of West Sulawesi Regional Police, Senior Superintendent Christian Rony Putra announced his party has revealed three operation targets and five arrests of non-target operation. “Our target throughout Operation Antik is completed. All of them have been arrested with additional five non-target operations. This brings the total suspect arrested to eight,” quote Christian from RRI on Thursday (3/14/2024). The arrest for the eight suspects are conducted in three regions which are Polman Regency, Majene Regency, and Pasangkayu Regency. Each of the regencies, police arrested one operation targets with the initials of AR (38, A (39), and M (48). On the arrest of one of the operation targets, police also arrested two other non-operation targets with the initials of S (28) and N (37). Meanwhile, other three non-operation targets were also arrested at different locations, they are AD (27), AH (26), and SA (31). Total meth confiscated from the suspects is 15.14 gram with 9.11 gram from the operation target suspects, and 6.03 gram from the non-target operation suspects. Suspects will be charged with Article 114 Paragraph (1) Subs Article 112 (1) Law Number 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics with the threat of imprisonment for a maximum of 20 years, a minimum of 4 years.
