Inp.polri.go.id - Semarang. Police have detained 19 gang members who were riding motorcycles in a convoy on the main roads of Semarang City, Central Java, on Sunday night (31/3/2024).
"These motorcycle gangsters were causing disturbances in the community after attending an iftar gathering," said Semarang City Sub-regional Police Chief Senior Superintendent Irwan Anwar, as reported by antaranews.com.
The police received reports from the public, which were monitored through the command center at the Semarang City Police Headquarters.
The Semarang Police Patrol Team acted on the reports, detaining the 19 youths who were members of the motorcycle gang.
"Nineteen were detained for documentation and counseling. Most of them are students from a vocational high school," Chief Irwan said..
Authorities subsequently called the parents of the teenagers for further counseling processes.
